Welcome to my MAniX-place.co.uk, an established website aimed at providing Linux support and showcasing the very best in Open Source. MAniX-Place.co.uk is a member of The Linux Webring and i am also Registered Linux User: #417406. This website is the one-stop shop for Linux knowledge, from installs to forums, it is here. Confused and want to know what Linux is?? Feel free to browse, and if you would like to help with this project and see what it is about, see About Us. On behalf of Linux and the community, Welcome!! So far this website covers, Fedora Core, Ubuntu, SUSE Linux, and Fox Linux, as well as Live CD's from Ubuntu, SUSE, SLAX, KNOPPIX and more.
What's new?? The website has been revamped and we continue to work with our hosting provider, Extraction Hosting. We have removed the Products section in favour of a new eLearning section. This new section contains an exclusive Linux Wireless HowTo guide with great resources. This guide was written, developed and designed by Adam Moreland, and features chapter quizes and a main quiz. SCORM versions of all our eLearning can be obtained on request for use in an LMS.
Our blog, www.2welshmen-and-a-sheep.co.uk, is still available, and a new feature is the addtion of the RSS feeds direct to this site!! Click the link above, look at the bottom of the pages for the RSS feed, or here. You will also find a new "Todays Date" which links direct to the BBC "On This day" section. There is a new Weather widget at the bottom replacing the Guestbook, and a new Google search box at the top under the date enabling you to get what you want from one page.
This website aims to provide a collection of articles and links, under various sections, that will link on to valuable resources. These links are mostly to Linux resources, for Fedora Core and SUSE Linux, and include links to the best guides for installations, and also information on installing wireless networks, installing java plugins and support, installing flash plugins and support, setting up yum, setting up NTFS read/write access, as well as a huge amount of other information.
And more is yet to come with a "Portfolio" of my work, new contributions, and a more expansive website then ever before. These will appear shortly, and will bring my website up to date.
